Veteran actor Viju Khote – From TV serials to the Big Screen: Journey ends at 77

Veteran actor Viju Khote, best recollected for his roles in movies like Sholay and Andaz Apna Apna, breathed his last on Monday 30September 2019. The 77-year-old supposedly passed on of numerous organ failure. He is survived by his sister Shubha Khote, who is additionally a performing artist on television.

He had acted in more than 300 Hindi and Marathi movies. He picked up acclaim for his character Kaliya within the blockbuster film Sholay. Khote was prevalent for his comedy roles in numerous movies like Andaz Apna Apna, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. His part in TV serial Jaban Sambhal Ke too picked up popularity.
