Mumbai: Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray announced a grant of Rs 50 lakh for the 94th All India Marathi Literature Conference to be held at Nashik. From March 26, the conference will be held in the premises of Gokhale Education Institute in Nashik and senior science writer Jayant Narlikar has been unanimously elected as the president of the conference. This conference is being organized by All India Marathi Literature Corporation and Lokhitwadi Mandal, Nashik has invited to organize this conference.

As we have been fighting the fight against Covid since last year and the situation is improving rapidly, this literature conference will be conducted with full care of health and also the Chief Minister expressed his hope that this conference will create an atmosphere of enthusiasm in the Marathi literature world once again.

He also expressed his best wishes to the organisation of this conference. The Chief Minister has expressed happiness to have a great astronomer and literary like Dr. Jayant Narlikar as the president of this conference.

Kautikrao Thale Patil, President of All India Marathi Literature Corporation, has informed that the conference was supposed to be held in December-January but it has to be held in March due to the Corona crisis.
