With over 23 lakh voters, Thane Lok Sabha constituency has the highest number of voters in Maharashtra State, of which nearly 12.60 lakh are male voters.

There are 8.73 crore voters in the State, of which over 4.16 crore are female voters.

Female voters, numbering 7,35,597 outnumber male voters in Ratnagiri – Sindhudurg constituency that has a total of 14.40 lakh voters.

Other constituencies with over 20 lakh voters are Maval (over 22 lakh), Shirur and Nagpur (over 21 lakh each) and Pune and Baramati (over 20 lakh each).

Mumbai North has over 16 lakh voters, Mumbai North – West over 16.98 lakh, Mumbai North-East over15.58 lakh, Mumbai North -Central over 16.48 lakh and Mumbai South – Central has over 14.15 lakh voters.

Raigad has over 16.37 lakh voters, Kalyan over 19.27 lakh, Bhiwandi over 18.58 lakh and Palghar has over 18.13 lakh voters.

Gadhchiroli – Chimur, Dindhori and Palghar constituencies are reserved for the Scheduled Tribes and Amravati, Ramtek, Shirdi, Latur and Sholapur constituencies are reserved for the Scheduled Castes.
