Wada: Rajya Shikshan Kranti Sanghatana, Maharashtra and Journalists Welfare Association, Navi Mumbai distributed daily essentials and food-grains to 60 tribal families of Sonale village in Wada taluka, Palghar district on the eve of the Holi festival. Ashok Sheshware, president of JWA, Navi Mumbai stated that in spite of modernization, there are still regions where citizens are mal-nourished, particularly tribal pockets in Palghar district.

Prominent senior citizens of the village, Deoram Ghagas and Sunita Ghagas inaugurated the free distribution function by handing over the packets to the tribal families in the spacious ground in front of their house, in the presence of the village sarpanch, Aruna Gurode, deputy sarpanch, Pandharinath Marade, State secretary RSKS, S. G. Patil, Palghar district secretary, Surendranath Dusane, taluka vice president, Rahul Patil, BJP taluka secretary, Rajesh Rikame, RSKS president Sudhir Ghagas and JWANM president Ashok Sheshware .
