The State Highway Safety Patrol (HSP) police announced that the Pune corridor of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway will remain closed for two hours on Friday from 12pm to 2pm.

Mr Mohre source from highway police said that “The closure is essential as the MSRDC (Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation)is installing a fluctuating messaging board on the overhead gantry at Chikle village, which is located around Kalamboli on the E-way”.

He also informed that,Vehicles coming from Mumbai will be diverted from the Kalamboli circle toward the Uran bypass road to get to the D-point junction and travel towards Palaspe phata till Kon village. To reach Shedung Motorists can travel along the Kon Bridge and go till Chowk phata to reach Khalapur and connect to the E-way.

Motorist can also take alternate route towards the Khanda colony signal from the Kalamboli circle connecting Panvel flyover to Takka village, and then reach Palaspe phata.

During the closure, heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) and mutli-axle vehicles will be cease Shivkar village.
