Aghamarshana Media & Entertainment LLP & announce their prestigious change-leading initiative, Project Urvi.

Speaking about the initiative, one of the News Ambassadors & Co-founder Subhendu Maity has said that this is the first-of-its-kind initiative in India which engages the rural India to contribute news and content utilising the social media technologies. Elaborating more on the topic, he said that ‘Project Urvi’ stands for ‘Unleashing the Rural Voice of India’ and added that this would bring the Indian rural and urban population much closer for a larger goal of information exchange and sustainable development.

One of the team members mentioned that a team of volunteers, supported by the corporate world and philanthropists, would go to the village and train the youth in social media technologies, mobile engagement and content creation. This, he said, would empower them to share news, views and much more interesting information about their celebrations, traditions, produce, flora and fauna, etc., through, using twitter and facebook.
