The Pulwama attack has left the citizens of Navi Mumbai anguished. The terrorist attack that killed 40 CRPF personnel has left every Indian fuming. Citizens now want the government to retaliate in equal strength against this utmost cowardly act of terror.
On Thursday, the Jaish-e- Mohammad militants had targeted the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) convoy with a car bomb in Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
LT Col Omar Pathare(retd), termed the act “most heinous”. He called for adhering to stricter security protocols in the terror hit state. The youth in Jammu and Kashmir were highly misguided and educating them was “need of the hour”, he felt.
Commander SH Kalawat (retd) attached grave intelligence failure as the reason behind the attack. “It is high time the political leadership took over the issue and sorted out the issue once and for all,” he stressed.
Shailesh Gadre (Founder of Gadre’s knowledge and financial solutions) said, the incident was “sad and shocking”, but expressed faith in the government. “I am sure we will give a fitting reply in the form of a well planned surgical strike,” he said.
Parvathy Harikrishnan, a retired BARC official said, political parties and people of Jammu and Kashmir should stand united with the central government and agencies, instead of merely criticising them. The terror act spoke volumes about the deadly plans terrorists had against India, she said.” The government must take whatever action it needs to crush down militancy forever from our country “, she stated.
