Mumbai: When the number of Covid-19 cases surged at 7,92,541 with 24,583 deaths, the Maharashtra Government on Monday under its ‘Mission Begin Again’ – Unlock 4.0’, permitted hotels to function at 100% capacity, rejected the e-pass prerequisite for inter-district travelling of people and products, traveller development by private and minibuses and 30% staff in private workplaces from September 2.
Hotels in Maharashtra will be permitted to operate at 100% capacity but will need to strictly follow to security standards. Private workplaces will be permitted to operate at 30 percent capacity — up from the present ’10 percent or 10 individuals whichever is more”. Government workplaces can convey 100 percent of their Bunch A and Group B staff, and 30 percent of the rest, in urban hotspots, counting Mumbai, Pune, and Pimpri-Chinchwad. Within the rest of the state, 50 percent of the staff in government workplaces can come to work.
In the midst of reports of corruption and protest from the political parties and citizen organisations, the State Government at long last dropped the condition of e-pass for associate area development from September 2. But entertainment parks, including theaters in malls and market complexes, bars, auditoriums, and assembly halls will stay closed. Social, political, sports, entertainment, academic, cultural, and religious and other large assemblies will continue to be prohibited.
However, schools, colleges, cinema halls, swimming pools, and metro rail will proceed to stay closed till September 30. Interests, the rules are totally quiet on the reviving of exercise centers and eateries, in spite of rehashed affirmations. Shopping centers other than in Mumbai will also proceed to stay closed.
