Maharashtra cabinet expansion may happen after the winter session from December 16-21. The cabinet extension is getting longer as there’s yet to have unanimity of the three accomplices because of Aghadi. NCP’s Praful Patel has declared that it’ll take place on 22nd. It’s planning to take place between 16-21st December in Nagpur. NCP leader Ajit Pawar may take over as Deputy Chief Minister after the two-week winter session of the state assembly commences at Nagpur. Pawar may be inducted as DCM when Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray expands the cabinet after the winter session of State Legislature.
Just after winning the floor test within the Maharashtra Assembly, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray is allegedly keen to expand his cabinet. But whereas both the Shiv Sena and the Congress are pushing for a quick expansion, the NCP has asked for more time, said sources. Presently Shiv Sena has concurred that after the winter session cabinet expansion is aiming to take place. The Chief Minister and 6 of the ministers will look after the entire business of the house legislature. Ajit Pawar will get a home or not inside the NCP, whether he’ll become the Deputy CM or not, Jayant Patil is allegedly troubled as he is the front runner of the DCM.
As of late, Thackeray has held a Marathon assembly with Cabinet colleagues Jayant Patil, Chhagan Bhujbal, Shubash Desai and Eknath Shinde on Monday. The assembly was also attended by NCP’s Ajit Pawar and Sena MLA and Thackeray’s son Aaditya.
According to sources, the NCP is however to finish the candidature for the Deputy Chief Minister’s post. Maharashtra NCP President Jayant Patil, who has as of now been inducted as a Minister, Pawar’s nephew Ajit are within the race, with the majority of the party legislators backing the latter.
