Vashi: Vijay Kalose, CMD of Saffrons-Eventz & Saffrons Entertainment announced the beauty pageant for the Navi Mumbai Queen, Navi Mumbai Princess and Navi Mumbai Elite 2020 Crown to be held on February 29, 2020. He invited interested contestants to apply for the audition rounds to be held on February 2 and 3 at the 9th floor, Wegrow, Proxima building (Arunachal Bhavan), near Vashi railway station in Navi Mumbai. 

Informing that the contest will be held for 3 categories viz. unmarried females from 16 years of age to 30 years, married females from 18 years and single women, widows and divorcees from 18 years, Kalose called upon all eligible females to avail this grand opportunity in Navi Mumbai to enhance their confidence levels, personality and to empower themselves. 
Stating that there will be no bikini, swim-suit and skin-show rounds, he added that after the auditions, the selected contestants will undergo grooming in physical fitness, get their portfolios done, personality development, dental scaling and polishing, skin and hair care, voice modulation, diction, table manners, facing the camera, ramp walk and confidence levels. The benefits of participation will extend beyond the contest to lead a more positive and purposeful life confidently, Kalose added. 

Saffrons-Eventz pioneered the beauty pageants in Navi Mumbai by organizing Miss Navi Mumbai contests for 6 years, Mrs. Navi Mumbai contests for 3 years and Mr. Navi Mumbai contest for 1 year and is now returning to the city after a hiatus of 10 years.

The announcement of the contest this year was made at a press conference at Wegrow on January 30, which was also graced by Komal Udhwani, MS. Beautiful Earth, model, actor, anchor and grooming expert, Avinash Deshmukh, builder and sponsor of the beautiful crowns, Jasmeen Manoj, founder of WOW (Women Of Wisdom) network, Prakash Rane, author, lyricist, poet, journalist and cultural activist, Vidya Hajirnis, Saffron Miss Navi Mumbai in 2008 and a Vastu consultant, Rahul Hajirnis, fitness consultant and trainer and Kritika Shetty, a contestant.
Several past contestants and winners and proposed contestants for the 2020 contest like Audrey Moraes and Sangeeta Kharbanda were also present on the occasion.
