An earthquake measuring 4.3 on Richter scale struck parts of Gujarat and Rajasthan at 10.31pm on Wednesday. As per the reports from The Institute of Seismological Research, the epicenter of the quake was 31 km North East of Palanpur town in Banaskantha district.

Mild shakes were  also experienced in the pockets of Ahmadabad. People came out of houses in Banaskantha, Mehsana and Sabarkantha areas after experiencing the tremors.No causalities or damage to properties are reported.
