Belapur: Continuing the free distribution of food-grains and other essentials to needy citizens, particularly the slum dwellers, daily wage earners, rickshaw drivers and Asha workers, since the declaration of the lockdown to contain the COVID-19 pandemic in March this year, by the Vijay Nahata Foundation, former Konkan Divisional Commissioner, former NMMC civic chief and deputy leader of the Shiv Sena, Vijay Nahata and the Navi Mumbai Shiv Sena distributed essential materials for the preparation of Diwali ‘Faral’ (variety of delicacy traditional snacks) to sweeten the Diwali festival for the needy weaker sections of the community in all the slum settlements, in the villages and nodes in the Belapur Assembly constituency.

Vijay Nahata has been extending a helping hand to the needy ever since the lockdown commenced, informed Pradeep B. Waghmare, chief of the city naka workers (daily wage earners).

SS mahila zilla sanghatak Ranjanatai Shintre, deputy district chief Rohidas Patil, Milind Suryarao, Prakash Patil, Santosh Ghosalkar, Dilip Ghodekar, city chief Vijay Mane,  Uttar Bharatiya zilla sanghatak Kamlesh Varma and other main office bearers, former corporators, office bearers of Yuva Sena and Mahila Aghadi were present occasion.

Vijay Nahata thanked all the SS party workers for their untiring effort to distribute the materials during the trying times to the needy residents in the Belapur constituency.
