Ganesh Naik Leads Former District President and Several Leaders Into BJP
Navi Mumbai, October 3: Former Navi Mumbai district president of the Congress party Dashrath Bhagat, Ankush Sonawane, Ajay Walunj, Vijay Walunj, Youth Congress district president Nishant Bhagat, Vasant Ahire and several other office bearers and leaders of the Congress party in Navi Mumbai were inducted into the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Ganesh Naik by the BJP incharge of the city Upadhyay in the presence of Navi Mumbai BJP president Ramchandra Gharat at the NMSA hall in Vashi, here today.
Expressing full confidence in the leadership of Ganesh Naik, Dashrath stated that Ganesh Naik alone could lend direction to the development of Navi Mumbai, as envisaged by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal – Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas.
Bhagat further stated that the separation from the Congress is painful due to his long association since his college days, but it is only the need to deliver the common citizens’ aspirations that is attracting people to the BJP in very large numbers all over the country.
Pointing at the presence of former district presidents of Congress and NCP and the present BJP district president on the stage, Bhagat stated that all opposition to the grand alliance in Navi Mumbai stood demolished and the alliance candidate in Airoli and Belapur constituencies would be elected by huge margins in the ensuing State Assembly elections.
Pointing out that factionalism in the Congress had made working for the people difficult, he opined that Ganesh Naik was now on the right track and expressed gratitude to Naik for bringing him and so many others on the right track, by joining the BJP.
Ganesh Naik lauded Dashrath Bhagat for his leadership in the city and called upon everyone to work together for the good of the city and the welfare of all sections of the society.
