Navi Mumbai: Since the commencement of lockdown to prevent the severity of Coronavirus pandemic, the online services of CIDCO’s housing department has been continuously available for the citizens due to which the citizens can avail them in such an adverse situation.

As per the instructions of Shri. Lokesh Chandra, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, CIDCO, all Citizen Facilitation Centers were closed since 1 November, 2019. After that, to avail the online services of Estate Department, online applications and payments were accepted by uploading scanned copies of necessary documents. Similarly, all types of digitally signed permission letters and NOCs were sent to the emails of the applicants. Besides this, the VC&MD of the corporation instructed the decentralization of applications and appointment of divisional officers for each node to provide quick and efficient services to the applicants.

After the announcement of the lockdown on 24 March, 2020 CIDCO took precautionary measures in providing all technical assistant to the employees of housing department to make them capable of working from home. Due to this, the online services of estate department were continuously available during lockdown.

From 23 March, 2020 to 16 July, 2020, CIDCO’s estate department has processed 1416 online CFC applications, granted transfer NOCs, Mortgage NOCs, lease other permissions etc. to various applicants.

To provide reliable administrative services of estate department to citizens, the direction of Shri. Lokesh Chandra, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, CIDCO to provide all services of the department through online has proved to be helpful for the citizens during this lockdown period. Due to this, these services are available to the citizens in a reliable and safe way.
