Adarsh Sevabhavi Samajik Sanstha and Rotary Club of Kharghar Midtown Distribute Saree, Blouse Farsan and Sweets to Katkari tribals of Gholwadi Katkaripada in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai to mark Bhau Beej Deepavali on October 25.

ACP Kiran Patil, who was presented the Police Medal by the President of India this year and a tribal himself, Pradeep Today, Sr. P.I. Kharghar police station, Sagar Gundewar, Pushkar Abhyankar and Komal Gundewar, office bearers of Rotary Club of Kharghar Midtown Vishwarath Nayar, editor -Raigad Observer, Manjula Katkari, corporator, social workers, Meghnath Thakur, Manesh Patil and Santosh Rathod graced the occasion and gave away the gifts on behalf of the Rotary Club and the Adarsh Sevabhavi Samajik Sanstha. 

Kiran Patil stressed upon the importance of education and urged the tribal families to educate their children to come up in life and he appreciated Gajanan Chavan of Adarsh Sevabhavi Samajik Sanstha and the Rotary Club for the humanitarian effort to encourage the children and celebrate the festival of lights with the weakest sections of the society. He added that education alone will bring light and brighten their lives. 

Kiran Patil was also felicitated and presented a Tulsi plant by elderly residents of the tribal hamlet for receiving the President’s police medal.
