Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan has been moved to the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai after testing positive for coronavirus on Saturday. The hospital said that he had been brought in after complaining of breathing issues. The Bollywood superstar affirmed his coronavirus diagnosis on Twitter and inquired all those who have been in close proximity to him to get for Covid-19. Amitabh’s son and actor Abhishek Bachchan also have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
Amitabh too took to Instagram to post a photo of himself from the healing center, at the side, a message asking anybody who has come in touch with him urged them to get tested.
Amitabh Bachchan was symptomatic and was self-isolating at home some time recently being taken to the Nanavati hospital on Saturday evening. Whereas the senior on-screen character had been remaining at home ever since the lockdown started on March 25, he had as of late shot limited time substance for the test appear Kaun Banega Crorepati and other ventures at his home and consequently had contact with the production team who came to his house.
Bachchan’s doctors at Nanavati hospital informed that he had taken a Covid-19 test after complaining of breathlessness for the past few days. Amitabh Bachchan, 77, had survived a near-fatal accident on the sets of Manmohan Desai’s Coolie in 1982. He has lived with a compromised liver since at that point. He works out routinely and takes a strict dietary regime.
