Koparkhairne: Dr. Uday Dhuri, spokesperson for Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, called for the immediate implementation of the National Register of Citizens nation-wide within a time frame, considering the gravity of increasing infiltrators from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Myanmar into India.
He was addressing the agitation here in Navi Mumbai on November 24 by patriotic and pro-Hindutva citizens and representatives of the Shri Shivpratishthan Hindustan, Hindu Mahasabha, Agri Koli Brains, Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, Sanathan Sanstha and other organizations.
Dr. Dhuri pointed out that 19,06,657 residents in Assam did not find their name in the NRC, which meant they had infiltrated or residing illegally.
As per a recent report of the National Intelligence Agency, the Jamat-ul-Mujaheedin Bangladesh are spreading out into India at a fast pace through Bangladeshi infiltrators. Hence infiltration has become a national issue.
Dr. Uday Dhuri called upon the Union Government to instruct all States to implement the N. R. C. to enumerate the number of infiltrators across the nation from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Myanmar, to take strict steps to secure the boundaries of the nation and to implement necessary measures on the borders of the nation.
A call was also made to hand over the investigations of the murder of the president of the Hindu Mahasabha in Uttar Pradesh and Hindu Samaj Paksh, Kamlesh Tiwari and the 5 pro-Hindutva activists in U. P. to the National Investigation Agency. Investigations revealed that the plot to murder Tiwari and others was hatched in Dubai and there were threats to the life of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, some Indian cricketers and some pro-Hindutva leaders from these terrorists, as per the information of the intelligence department.
