Panvel: 200 widows were given a month’s free essential ration by the Shri Sai Narayan Baba Trust at the temple premises here on October 7 on the occasion of the 200th Sai Vani Satsangh conducted by the founder head of the Sri Bhagawati Sai Sansthan, Panvel, observing all norms of social distancing and wearing of masks.
Sri Sai Narayan Baba, a prolific exponent of the life and teachings of Sri Saibaba, has been conducting the Sai Vani satsangh online, daily, since the temple has been closed due to the lockdown imposed by the government to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Hundreds of food packets were distributed by the Sansthan daily, during the initial lockdown months to the Panvel municipal and police personnel, stranded migrants and the needy.
